I love playing golf, tennis and basketball. I love to watch college basketball [Go Maryland!] and NOT pro basketball.
I am a Baltimore Ravens fan, so I watch them and attend their games whenever possible.
I love baseball, with my favorite teams being the Cubs and the Orioles.
And I am a soccer-lover, rooting internationally for FC Barcelona and locally with DC United.
I enjoy watching movies.My all-time favorite is "Saving Private Ryan", but I get into John Wayne westerns also.
My favorite John Wayne movie is "Chisum". I also like many of the Disney movies, such as the "Toy Story" series. The "Shrek"
series is very funny, too.
I like playing word games on line, such as "Boggle" and "Bookworm" , and "Dynomite Deluxe". I do chat
on-line with people, especially with those from my time in Chile when they are on-line.
And I find the World Series of Poker really interesting! I'm not good at all at the game, but the personalities that
play are fascinating to me.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My callings in our local church [ward] include being
the Ward Webmaster, Executive Secretary, an Elder in the church, and a temple worker. [The temple is that beautiful majestic
building off of the Capital Beltway- a picture of it is on the "A Few of My Favorite Things" page] I help out in any way that
I can to help our ward flourish. I really enjoy church a lot and hope that I am making a good contribution to the Church.
